We are calling on the Labor Party to immediately leave the Netanyahu government. Every day that you remain aligned with this government it is an abomination to you and to the entire Left Wing in Israel.
Peace Now published the above ad in the Israeli daily newspapers:
The ad reads:
Barak, November 25, 2010: “There is a contradiction between the structure of the government and the chance of promoting the negotiations”
Eini, December 12, 2010: “Without peace negotiations, the Labor Party should leave the government”
Herzog, September 12, 2010: “Without a serious peace process, we will act toward resigning from the government”
Braverman, November 10, 2010: “If there are no real peace negotiations—we won’t sit in the government!”
There’s no freeze!
There’s no peace process!
Leave the right-wing government now!
We called upon the Left-Wing Israeli public to sign this petition:
We, Israeli citizens and members of the Peace Camp, are ashamed of the fact that the Labor Party, the party that once claimed it was the lead of the Left in Israel is part of Netanyahu’s radical Right-wing government.
The peace process is stuck, Israel-US relations are in crisis, the Prime Minister prefers appeasing his right-wing coalition over the future of our state, and racism is growing every day. In this dire hour, there is no excuse for the Labor Party to be part of such a poisonous coalition.
We are calling on the Labor Party to immediately leave the Netanyahu government. Every day that you remain aligned with this government it is an abomination to you and to the entire Left in Israel.
