1,200 participants attended Peace Now’s conference which brought together approximately 60 speakers – Members of Knesset, from the Zionist Union, the Joint list and Meretz, as well as experts, civil society leaders and journalists – who discussed issues critical to a future political solution. Among these issues were how to support the two state solution in a changing region; two state solution in light of settlements and the situation on the ground; international pressure and its impact; involvement of underrepresented groups in the peace camp; the struggle in the Knesset and outside of it; and strategies to tackle the delegitimation of peace and human rights organizations.
