Despite Peace Now’s support of negotiated agreements rather than unilateral moves, the movement supported the disengagement from Gaza and created a coalition which lead a demonstration of 100,000 calling for the withdrawal. In response to the settlers’ orange ribbon campaign, Peace Now distributed blue ribbons to its activists and followers, which represented support in the disengagement plan.
