In 1991, Peace Now addressed a special letter to President Chaim Herzog, protesting Abie Nathan’s imprisonment after meeting with Palestinian representatives. The letter called President Herzog to work towards the decriminalization of meeting with Palestinians, as doing so is the only way through which peace can be achieved.
