The Israel Land Administration, together with the Ministry of Housing, issued today three tenders for construction in East Jerusalem and the West Bank:
1. A Tender for 92 units in the settlement of Ma’ale Adumim – this is a new tender, for construction in neighborhood no. 7 in north Ma’ale Adumim (and it has nothing to do with E1). The intention to issue the tender was published by the Housing Ministry in the list of upcoming tenders that was published in 22/10/2012. It could be part of the 3,000 tenders promised by the Government following the UN bid, although it was published beforehand.
2. A Tender for 10 units in Givat Hadagn in the settlement of Efrat – this is an old tender that was published one year ago on 8/12/2011 and did not have any winning bids. The ILA and the Ministry of Housing are now renewing this old tender, trying again, to sell the rights for construction, this time in a lower minimum price.
3. A Tender for a trade building in Har Homa B in East Jerusalem – this tender was published in 3/4/2012 but failed. The ILA and the Ministry of Housing are now renewing this old tender trying again to sell the rights for construction.
