Our taxs are funding right-wing terrorists

Watch Channel 10 News’ report following our exposure of a document proving that the Honenu organization provides monetary assistance to families of convicted right wing terrorists.

Honenu, which also provides legal aid to right wing defendants who commit crimes against Palestinians and most recently assisted those accused in the arson of the Church of Loaves and Fish, receives public funding as donors to the organization are eligible to receive tax credit according to section 46a of the income tax ordinance. As a result, Israel citizens are funding convicted right wing terrorists.

Not only that but Honenu also receives tax deductible donations from the United States through the Central Fund for Israel.

Peace Now and its supporters sent letters to the Minister of Finance Moshe Kahlon demanding the immediate halt of Honenu’s tax benefits status.

Update: Following our exposure that the Honenu organization provides monetary assistance to families of convicted right wing terrorists, the Knesset’s Finance Committee announced a special hearing on tax deductible donations to Honenu by the end of 2015.
