Peace Now’s statement on the recognition of the State of Palestine by Norway, Spain, and Ireland:
“It’s time to realize that a Palestinian state is inevitable, and it would be better for Israel to initiate the process rather than be dragged into it.
We must choose now — eternal war and isolation or a political horizon that leads to peace and security. We must choose between Biden or Ben-Gvir.
Only a two-state solution, as part of a comprehensive regional initiative, will bring security, the return of our hostages, normalization with Saudi Arabia, and an end to our international isolation.
We must end the war and say yes to the two-state solution.
That is the real victory.”
