The government may have suspended the plan for bus segregation in the West Bank yesterday, but its “conflict management” approach perpetuates a reality of occupation which negatively impacts the lives of millions of Palestinians and threatens the idea of Israel as a Jewish and democratic state.
This conflict cannot be managed, it must be resolved, and the only way to do so is through a two state solution and an end of occupation.
