Total public investment in the settlements stands at NIS 991 per capita, compared with NIS 332 per capita in Israel!
Public investment in construction in settlements in recent years:
– 2008: NIS 367 million – approximately 14% of the budget!
– 2009: NIS 371 million – 13.8% of the budget!
– 2010*: NIS 308 million – 11.3% of the budget!
* During the nine months in 2010, there was a construction freeze in the settlements and still spending on construction was higher than in Israel.
