Settlements around and within East Jerusalem neighborhoods:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Advancement of plans for <strong>33,519 new housing units for Israelis in East Jerusalem<\/strong>, through the approval of plans for deposit or final validation.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Planning of <strong>four new settlements in East Jerusalem<\/strong>, located within or on the edges of Palestinian neighborhoods: Givat HaShaked, Kidmat Zion, the Lower Aqueduct, and Kiryat Menachem Begin in Sheikh Jarrah. <em>(Two additional settlements\u2014Atarot and \u201cNahlat Shimon\u201d\u2014were advanced in January 2026.)<\/em><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Approval of the <strong>E1 plan<\/strong> and publication of tenders for its construction, alongside steps to <strong>seal off the entire Ma\u2019ale Adumim area (the heart of the West Bank) from Palestinians<\/strong>, including through the construction of a new road.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Promotion of <strong>four new settlements in the outer ring surrounding East Jerusalem<\/strong>: Nahal Heletz, Shdema, Mishmar Yehuda, and Adam West.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Development of <strong>road infrastructure<\/strong> around East Jerusalem at a cost of <strong>billions of shekels<\/strong> for the service of the settlements.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-57123\" src=\"https:\/\/peacenow.org.il\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/JM_Plans_Graph_ENG-330x173.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"650\" height=\"340\" srcset=\"https:\/\/peacenow.org.il\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/JM_Plans_Graph_ENG-330x173.jpg 330w, https:\/\/peacenow.org.il\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/JM_Plans_Graph_ENG-161x84.jpg 161w, https:\/\/peacenow.org.il\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/JM_Plans_Graph_ENG-768x402.jpg 768w, https:\/\/peacenow.org.il\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/JM_Plans_Graph_ENG.jpg 1360w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 650px) 100vw, 650px\" \/><\/p>\n<h3 dir=\"ltr\"><strong>B. Settlements within Palestinian neighborhoods:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Eviction of 11 families (64 individuals)<\/strong> from six homes in the Batan al-Hawa area of Silwan, followed by the entry of settlers into those properties.
