After making contact with him, we realized that the site led straight to the website memorializing Rabbi Meir Kahane.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_16635\" style=\"width: 340px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-16635\" class=\"size-large wp-image-16635\" src=\"http:\/\/peacenow.org.il\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/kahana-330x255.jpg\" alt=\"The site the missused domain leads to\" width=\"330\" height=\"255\" srcset=\"https:\/\/peacenow.org.il\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/kahana-330x255.jpg 330w, https:\/\/peacenow.org.il\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/kahana-161x124.jpg 161w, https:\/\/peacenow.org.il\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/kahana.jpg 408w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 330px) 100vw, 330px\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-16635\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The site the missused domain leads to<\/p><\/div>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">We worked with <strong>Adv.\u00a0Galit Bonne<\/strong>\u00a0from\u00a0<strong>D.Mirkin &amp; Co.\u00a0law offices<\/strong> and sent an appeal to the Israel Internet Association. Two days ago they issued a ruling that the domain name in question will be taken from the man who now owns it. \u00a0In the decision, it was stated that,&#8221;those who currently own the domain are working to purposely disrupt the activities of Peace Now. When someone enters this address, it is clear that they want to reach Peace Now and not the site that the address currently leads to&#8230; The spreading of opposing ideologies while connecting it to the web address of the\u00a0plaintiff\u00a0most certainly disrupts the\u00a0plaintiff&#8217;s\u00a0work. The owners of the domain were not able to present any reasons for holding the address other than disrupting the\u00a0activities\u00a0of Peace Now on the internet.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Yariv Oppenheimer, Peace Now&#8217;s Director-General reacted to the decision: <em>&#8220;I am pleased that at least online there is law and order and we can remove settlers who have taken over an address that is not theirs.
