In response to the latest reports of a special UN mission to investigate the effects of the settlements on Palestinian Human rights Peace Now released the following statement:<\/p>\n
Peace Now General Director Yariv Oppenheimer: “We oppose the council\u2019s creation of a factfinding mission on settlements.\u00a0We think the [UN] Human Rights Council is not an objective body, Peace Now\u00a0strongly opposes all Israeli settlement activity and independently monitors it.\u00a0Settlements are an important issue and they are harming Palestinians human rights.
