Peace Now Demands:

• The government must stop all immediate negotiations over legalizing outposts, this is only rewarding the law breakers and is against the interest of the Sate of Israel
• The Defense Minister must immediately order a freeze of all construction in the West Bank and remove hundreds of caravans that have been placed illegally.
• The Government must immediately begin to implement its commitments to the Road Map and freeze all construction and begin to remove the illegal outposts.

Outposts:
Peace Now has conducted an updated survey of the outpost, the number of outposts now stand at 106, all of them populated. 

As part of the Road Map, and later in a letter of commitment to the American President, the State of Israel committed to remove all outposts that were established after the government of Ariel Sharon was established (March 2001)

According to our reports 50 such outposts exist.
