Peace Now works to influence the decision and policy makers by utilizing public pressure. Over the years, various Israeli governments have continued construction in the settlements; this has created hard facts on the ground.

Peace Now views the settlements as an obstacle to any future peace. The serve the interest of a public that is not the majority in Israel, and its activists often act against the law in conjunction with official actors within the state.

We turn towards the judiciary system in order to try and change the situation on the ground but also to raise the issue of the settlements and how they harm Israel to the public consciousness.
