The Jerusalem Municipality approved the construction-permit for the disputed Mughrabi Ramp that leads from the Western Wall Plaza to the Temple Mount. The works on the ground should follow shortly .

A construction permit approved for 14 settlement units in Ras El-Amud

Last week the Jerusalem municipality approved a construction permit for the renovation of the old police station in Ras El-Amud, and the creation at the site of 14 new residential units. The work at the police station started already one year ago, but only now the permit was approved. The police station was given to the settlers after an agreement was made between them and the Israeli police that in return for the station in Ras El-Amud, the settlers will fund the construction of a new station, in the disputed area of E-1, East of Jerusalem, in the West Bank.
